What it is and How it works
The condom is a sheath of thin rubber (latex) which is put on a man's erect penis  before intercourse to collect the semen,keeping the sperm from entering the women 's vagina. About 1/2 inch of the condom is left slack to hold the semen .After climax ,but before losing his erection  ,the man must hold the rim of the condoms against the penis as he withdraws so the condom cant slip and spill the semen . A new condom must be used for each act of intercourse...

Advantages
              A male method, the condom is easy to use,effective,inexpensive ,usually can be easily obtained and does not require a prescription .It also protects against certain sexually transmitted diseases .

Disadvantages 
                  The shelf life of the condom is about five years ,but it may deteriorate or is roughly handled .Its use interrupts lovemaking and some users find sexual pleasure decreased .

 Who Should Not Use The Method
Any man can use a condom unless he or his partner is sensitive to latex .

Choices About the Procedure
Condoms are available in a large variety of sizes ,thicknesses ,colors and textures as well as lubricated and unlubricated .Reservoir ends are recommended .

Warning Signs a User Should Know
If a condom user is allergic to latex or lubricants ,local irritation will occur.
